So, to continue the previous discussion, this is basically the perfect example of what I was talking about in the prior entry. The visual presentation of the video is very much Sucker Punch/lolita/gothic/et cetera, and has an interesting concept to it, but beyond that, the actual song is basically the exact thing you’d expect. There’s a lot of interesting imagery in the video and the song, but the basic end result is “a goth song about hating dudes with some interesting violin work,” which could roughly sum up a good portion of Autumn’s work. It’s interesting in its own way, but you can perhaps see how it makes for an interesting contrast to Stirling’s work, if nothing else.
